PEER SUPPORTERS

If you're feeling anxious about your exams (or worried about other things) - talking to someone who's been trained to help manage anxiety can help you feel more in control.

Peer Supporters are students who've had training in basic counselling skills.

A Peer Supporter is available 'on call' for an informal chat between 11am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, during term-time. Just ring 07545 422 612 to contact them. You can talk on the phone or arrange to meet up somewhere quiet on campus and talk face-to-face.

Peer Supporters also run a weekly drop-in on Thursdays from 1pm to 4pm on the Ground Floor of the Carrington Building (next door to Dolche Vita) - drop by then for FREE tea or coffee and a chat.

At other times peer supporters can be contacted via email at peersupport@reading.ac.uk or individually via email through our website.

Peer Supporters are trained and supported by Counselling & Wellbeing. Peer Support is friendly & confidential. Go towww.reading.ac.uk/peersupport to find out more.
